Irish lighting company, Solus have launched an attractive new brand refresh, 150 additional LED lines, interactive displays, a new ‘Planet first’ sustainability initiative and now lighting the way forward for new European Commission regulations coming into effect on September 1st regarding energy labelling requirements for light sources.

 

Solus were proud to partner with The Furey Smyth Group to launch the new Solus Lighting Centres at EUROSPAR Lucan and across their 7 EUROSPAR stores nationwide.  Solus also launch a new brand refresh for the convenience sector, new packaging, extra LED lines and a new Planet First sustainability initiative which is closely aligned to the impressive BWG Ireland €11 million sustainability programme recently announced.  Over the next few months Solus will also roll out an awareness and information campaign on the welcome new European Commission regulations coming into effect on September 1st regarding energy labelling requirements for light sources.

The new Solus Lighting Centre at EUROSPAR Lucan allows customers to press a button to ‘try me’ and see exactly what the light bulbs look like when lit in various surroundings.  After over a year of research and design, Solus found that customers were often overwhelmed by the complexity of choice in the light bulb sector with lots of different considerations including wattage, fitting, product type, energy benefits and more.  The new Solus Lighting Centres predict and answer a user’s questions in a simple friendly way.
